Lots of GA Mexico Changes - I’m Optimistic!

Well there have been a lot of changes to GA in Mexico lately and we ARE TRACKING THEM! I’ve updated our 2025 course with the new AIU Entry Permit procedures. Our amazing Document Generator tool can help quickly compose your AIU Application cover letter, saving you lots of time and confusion. You can find that in the last course lesson (Document Generator and Resources)

2 other big pieces of news- there’s been a shake up in the Mexico Aviation Government departments due to some alleged corruption so we are waiting to see how that shakes out and how it may ultimately impact GA operations in the future. We will keep the course updates when news hits.

As you may know and as we cover in the course, many famous airstrips are (hopefully temporarily) closed while Mexico decides when and how to implement a longstanding rule about Privately owned secondary airports. We cover all the details in the course and give you direct resources on how to CHECK AIRPORT STATUS. Mexico AFAC will not issue flight plans to many secondary airports. But don’t worry - there are still lots of amazing adventures to be had at many airports that are still accessible!

Our How to Fly to Mexico course is THE MOST IN DEPTH RESOURCE for learning how to fly to Mexico. After taking this COURSE you will be prepared for incredible adventures!
